Both images deal with the concept of justice, yet they represent two entirely different approaches to legal conflict. In the first image, we see a formal courtroom setting. The atmosphere seems quite rigid and traditional, with the judge presiding over the proceedings. It appears to be a structured environment where law is applied strictly. In stark contrast, the second image depicts a much more informal setting, likely a mediation or restorative justice session. Instead of a hierarchical structure, we see a circular arrangement, which suggests equality and dialogue between the parties involved.

While the first scene focuses on punitive or procedural justice, the second one seems to prioritise reconciliation and community healing. One could infer that the courtroom is about determining guilt, whereas the mediation centre is about resolving underlying issues. Despite these differences, both scenes revolve around the fundamental need to address grievances and maintain social order. Ultimately, the former represents the authority of the state, while the latter highlights a more human-centric, collaborative approach to conflict resolution. Both are essential components of a functioning society, depending on the nature of the offence being addressed.
